Chautauqua & Erie Lake – our properties are located just a short drive away from these famous lakes. Over 50 miles of Lake Erie shoreline and a handful of in-land lakes provide diverse water-based recreational activities. At 17.5 miles long, Chautauqua Lake is western New York’s largest in-land lake.  At 1308 feet above sea level it’s also one of the highest navigable bodies of water in North America. 

Fishing - Chautauqua’s lakes and streams are ideal for the serious sportsperson as well as the casual angler.  Cast from shore or the dock of a cottage or vacation rental, rent a boat for the day, or charter a boat and guide service.  Chautauqua Lake boasts a renowned history for muskellunge. Trout and salmon anglers will find the spring and fall runs on the Chautauqua and 18 Mile Creeks the finest of any of the Great Lakes tributaries.
