"Where the Ozarks touch the Illinois River"

Flint Ridge Resort is a 7,000 acre premiere private resort community located in Kansas, Oklahoma. This gated community is just 5 miles south of major Hwy 412. Near the main gate, off Hwy 10, is the "National Scenic Cherokee Hills Byway". Flint Ridge is located within an hour of Oklahoma State University, many shopping malls, airports and lakes. Major supermarkets and hospitals are just minutes away.

Flint Ridge is under the sole direction of the Flint Ridge Property Owners Association and has an elected Board of Directors. The entrances to Flint Ridge are controlled by three access gates with electronic card entry and are monitored 24 hours a day with private security patrols.

Amenities. Flint Ridge is known to be one of the finest premier Private Resort Communities that offers an amazing variety of amenities for its members all year round.  The Deer Valley Golf Club has a nine-hole, multiple-tee executive course, with a Pro Shop. Other amenities include: a clubhouse with a fitness center, a full service restaurant, RV campgrounds, rental cabins, fishing lakes, fitness center, canoe rentals, and a recreational area.

Recreation. The recreation area, located near the winding creek, has a newly redone 18-hole miniature golf course, two newly resurfaced tennis courts and basketball court, a new children’s playground, and new swimming pool. This area also offers beautiful views of a magnificent waterfall that flows over a steep rock. The recreation area also hosts many wonderful special events throughout the year.

Flint Ridge has three swimming pools available for members. Pine Ridge Club House is available for rent, for business meetings, weddings and other special events with a beautiful view of the sprawling Illinois River. 

Things to do in Flint Ridge. Aside from the long list of the wonderful amenities offered, Flint Ridge has many things to do for their property owners and residents. Things to do include: golf, soccer, basketball, playground, volleyball, fishing, baseball, hiking trailers, miniature golf, tennis, pool table, ping pong, canoeing, camping, fishing, picnic areas and much more.

Restrictions are very minimal in the resort community. Houses are allowed on residential site properties and mobile homes/manufactured homes are allowed on mobile home site properties. House must be a minimum of 800 sq ft of living space to build and mobile/manufactured home must be no older than 5 years of age at the time of placement. At Flint Ridge, all homesites have access to a central water distribution and purification facility. Electric and phone service is also available.
